It looks like the rumors could be true: Malificent is getting her own remake, a la Alice In Wonderland.
Linda Woolverton, screenwriter for the current Alice remake is said to be penning the script. Tim Burton
has dibs on the movie, but between his Frankenweenie 3D and 3D stop-motion Adams Family remake, he
might not have time for this one.
The film would focus on Sleeping Beauty's villainess and her side of the story. It's not clear whether or
not the film will be animated or live-action, but my guess is live action, which will be interesting to see.
