Third Trailer for The Last Airbender

A Third Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender has officially hit the internet. The first half of the trailer doesn't contain any footage that we haven't seen before, but the second half contains quite a few new scenes. Being a huge fan of the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender, I'm really excited for this. M. Night Shyamalan did the movie out of love for the series, which can only be a good thing.

We get to here more of Nicola Peltz as Katara, and judging by the trailer, she's perfect for the role. We also get to hear Noah Ringer (Aang), the film's protagonist for the first time at the very end of the trailer, and... It sounds off. A lot of the problem with his one line is it sounds like poor sound editiing, because you can clearly tell the line cuts off and is taken out of context,, but we'll just have to see another trailer or see the movie for ourselves to judge his performance.

The Last Airbender will be the first in a trilogy of movies, each one an adaption of each season from the show. It releases July 2nd, and yes, I will be there at midnight.
